Solar Links Initiative  

is a UK registered charity which helps Community Based Organisations (CBOs) in 'last-mile' rural communities in post-conflict areas in Uganda introduce affordable and sustainable community-wide solar home-lighting systems to subsistence farming households. They repay the costs over a fixed period through a savings scheme simultaneously established, so that further communities can be benefited, and all participants are helped to plan for the future.
